I live with my partner in Melbourne, Australia. I became interested in Australia as a teenager so I decided to focus on Australian subjects during my English studies at university in Germany.

I worked at the Melbourne and Immigration Museum as volunteer and customer service officer and during this time, I gained more knowledge about Australia's history. Furthermore I have worked on diverse projects at an educational book publisher where I got a permanent position in 2011.
